Memory Text Memory - Words scroll by on screen and you must read them. After a length of time, dependant on skill level, it will stop and you must type out, from memory, exactly what had been written on screen up until the stopping point. Color Squares - Depending on skill level, a grid of squares will appear on screen with various colors assigned in each square. After a time, the grid-square disappears and you must choose the correct grid-square out of group of grid-squares. The group of grid-squares gets larger depending on skill level. Memory Checkers - A checkers board, sized according to skill, appears on screen. You are given the starting locations of every piece, normal-start at the beginning, random locations in higher skill levels, and then the pieces disappear and you must play the game from memory. Skill level determins the checkers board size, the number of pieces on the board, and if your pieces and/or the opponents pieces are visible. Number Memory 1 - You are given a string of numbers that appear on the screen, display time and the length of the string-of-numbers dependant on skill level, and you must repeat the numbers back. Beginning skill levels is a single string-of-number and later skill levels is multiple long string-of-numbers. Letters may be included in later difficulties. Number Memory 2 - You are given a string of numbers that appear on the screen for a length of time. You must recall the string of numbers the next time the game is played. Length and ammount of string-of-numbers dependant on skill level. Letters may be included in later difficulties. Room Details - You are shown a picture of a room and you must attempt to remember details about everything in the picture. You will be given a time to scan and remember details of the room and then you will be asked questions that pertain to the room. The time you have to remember details of the room and the difficulty of the questions is dependant on skill level. Split Memory - You must read a passage of text on one side of the screen while a series of words, numbers, colors, or unique sounds flash on the other side or play over the speakers. You will then have to answer questions about the passage of text while also filling in the order of the words, numbers, colors, or sounds. Word and Number Quickness + Memory Scrambled Words - You are given a word that is scrambled, length and difficulty dependant on skill level, and you are given a length of time to figure out what the word is and then you must type what the correct word is. Word Search - You are given a letter array and must find as many words as you can in a defined amount of time. The size of the letter array and the complexity of the words and their locations is dependant on skill level. Word Search 2 - You are given a letter array and a number of words to find. After a defined amount of time the array is empied and you must then highlight the locations of the words within the array. The size of the array, the number of words, and the difficulty of the words and their locations are all dependant on skill level. Math - You are given varying degrees of difficulty math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, then combinations with order of operations and grouping symbols) and you must solve, as quickly as possible, a long list of equations. Skill level defines the complexity of the equations. Ball Counter - You start out with a box that has a predefined number of balls inside of the box. The box then covers the balls, and you must count the number of balls that roll into and out of the box. After some time, you then have to specify the number of balls currently within the box. The speed that the balls and the amount of balls that roll into and out of the box are dependant on skill level. Sound Counter - A short, unique sound is played over the speakers a number of times and the user must count the number of times the sound is repeated. Length between each sound and number of repeats is dependant on skill level. Sound Counter 2 - Multiple short, unique sounds are played a number of times and you must keep track of the number of times each sound is played. The number of unique sounds and the length between each sound is dependant on skill level. Sound Counter 3 - Two short, unique sounds are identified as positve and negative additions. For each positive sound you must add to the count, for each negative sound you must subtract from the count. Length between each sound and number of repeats is dependant on skill level. Color Counter 1, 2, 3 are simply repeats of Sound Counter 1, 2, 3 except sound is replaced with flashes of unique colors. Number Pattern - You are given a string of numbers and are asked to find the next number in the pattern. The length and complexity of the pattern is dependant on skill. Sound Pattern - A unique beeping sound is repeated in a pattern and you asked to identify the pattern. Example: beep beep beep -pause- beep beep -pause- beep -pause- beep beep beep -pause- beep beep -pause- beep <-- Would be identified as a 3 2 1 pattern. The shortness of the pause between beeps and pauses and the complexity of the pattern is dependant on skill level. Pattern Timing - A beeping pattern is given to the user several times before they are asked to press a unique key on the keyboard in time with the pattern. They must press the key as close as possible with the timing of the beep. The complexity of the pattern and the length of the pattern is dependant on skill level. Coin Counting - A series of coins are put on screen for a length of time and the user must count the amount of money that is on screen. The number of coins and the time to count is dependant on skill level. Change Counting - Two prices are shown on screen, a sale total and the amount recieved. The user must click on the appropriate change to meet the remainder as quickly as possible. Complexity of numbers dependant on skill level. Date Counting - You are given two dates within a month and are asked to give the correct date. Example: If March 3rd is a Tuesday, what day is March 28th? (OR) If March 9th is a Tuesday, what date would the second Sunday fall on? -- Higher skill levels increase the complexity by increasing the length between the dates and asking you to count backwards. All dates are within the same month. Eye Training + Memory Maze - You are given a length of time to find the path through a maze simply by looking at it. You are then asked to solve the maze in as few steps as possible from memory. To ensure that you are using memory your "person" in the maze never stops walking forward. The speed of your person, the size of the maze, and the time to memorize a path through the maze is all dependant on skill level. Periphial Focus - You are told to stare at one spot on the screen and not look away. You use your periphial vision to identify sets of numbers, words, and images. The size of the characters and the images, the speed at which they display, and the number you must memorize is dependant on skill level. Eye Movement - You are to follow a picture on the screen as it moves around. The image will switch between several different objects and you must identify the objects and the number of times it was used. The speed at which it moves and the number of different pictures is dependant on skill level. Speed Reading - A passage of text is shown and you are given a length of time to read it. You must then answer questions about the passage of text. You are encouraged to move your eyes as little as possible while reading the passage in the fasion of a speed reader, using your periphial vision and assuming context by reading only key words. The size of the characters and the length of the paragraph is dependant on skill level.
