But the King of Evil was destined to return, the world forever burdened with the eventual return of his immortal malice. And with just as much constance, heroes would continue to stand against him...for a time.

But history's repititions are not always precise, and fate does not always deal fairly. Even the most undeserving sometimes meet a premature demise.

[Also, maybe the triforce piece itself shattering; the images need to be more distinct than the legend itself, since the legend is supposed to sound broud and detached from the actual events...in my mind, at least]

SUBTITLE:

Heroes are easily venerated, but less commonly mimicked. The fallen Hero of Legend was honored by the people he had seized from the brink, but none would arise to take on his mantle.

In the wake of the age of heroes, the land of Hyrule found a new hope in miracles of their own construction.

And as the sages looked upon a Hyrule gradually distancing itself from its creators, they looked to the darkening skies with an unfamiliar feeling of uncertainty...

ACT ONE

CUTSCENE: ((A sprawling metropolatin, obvious steampunk influence, is shown. Train lines are most obvious, and converge on a central castle structure, created out of metal, in the central portion of the city. Zoom in on a young male, blond hair, tattered clothing and a dirty appearance laying under the eaves of two roofs coming together. Thunder strikes and startles the young person awake. He climbs down a storm drain and out in to the rain.}}

ACTIVITIES: {{*First Day*: Go through activities to survive, and through talking to various NPC's it becomes known that the hero of time is around and everyone knows it, making the player aware that you are not the hero of time. Collect food, do some quick errands for random NPC's to collect money.))

CUTSCENE: ((Show Link sleeping under his roof and wake up naturally. A large boom emenates from somewhere, and Link looks in the direction of what is going on. Camera shift to top most portion of the tower where all the windows glow bright white for a moment then goes away.))

ACTIVITIES: {{*Second Day*: Running through the streets you meet up with a man. He is wearing a dirty old cloak, but underneath you see he is wearing expensive clothing. You decide to pick pocket him. As you are running away with his money, he becomes aware of what you did and fires a steam powered ?boomerang? at you.

Man:

{{How dare you steal from me, boy! What is your name?}}

[Name Screen Appears With LINK Preselected]

MAN:

((Link, you say? What is this, some kind of joke? DO YOU, BOY, THINK THAT YOU COULD EVER POSSIBLY BE THE HERO OF TIME? HA! Now give me my money back!))

[Animation of man taking back his coin bag]

MAN:

(([Small Font]If only I could get the actual hero of time...))

[Animation of Link trying to walk away]

MAN:

((Hey, Link, do you feel like earning this money, and more, respectably?}}

[Given option to say yes or no]

ON YES:

MAN:

((Good! Here, take this with you... [small font] goddesses know you'll need it.))

[Given whatever was shot at you]

ON NO:

MAN:

((Well you don't have a choice, now do you? Or would you like me to take you right to the guards?!))

[Animation of Link backing up, shaking his hands as if saying "no no"]

CONTINUED EITHER WAY:

MAN:

{{Now, quickly, take the trains out of town. South. Bring me back this green stone.}}

[Animation of man pulling out a paper with a stone drawn on it.]

[Animation of Link looking confused]

((Fine, look, here. I'll mark your map for you.))

[Animation of Link shrugging and patting his pockets OR animation of man looking shocked]

((What?! You don't have a map? Bah, useless! Here, take mine. Once you get the stone, bring it back to this door.))

((Yes, you'll get paid! Now get out of here, you worthless piece of trash.))

ACTIVITIES: ((You are running through town to the train station, marked on your map. You reach the train station and speak with a woman behind a counter, who is gossiping with another woman about how the outlaying villages aren't reachable by train any longer because of all the rain. You interupt her, ask for a ticket south, and she tells you that you can only be taken as far as the forrest. You take your ticket to the trains, and get on board.}}
